  1. As I was never really happy with my bended alu on the frame, I made the panel new. It's not perfect, but I think much better. Final result we will see after a little putty and primer. Arno
  2. Thanks for the nice word's! The dents are just made with a heat gun and a round tool
  3. Start to throw all the bits and parts into the body And try how it would look on the frame. What you think: this frame is not to small? Arno
  4. So, I got now my figures. Now I have to find out how to change the arms from the BAR shooter. How do you do that? Thanks Arno
  5. Thanks Anders, after reading your post again, it was clear! So it's for shure my english, sometimes i'm a bit slow and confused sorry
  6. @Mike: yea, doing a crash dio is just fun. You have the freedom to do nearly everithing, especially weathering wich I start to love. In this case I have the luck, that I got pictures from all around the plane, or is that bad?!? @Grant: My first water attempt was with the Faller stuff, then I tought I will give Vallejo a try. Main "problem" with both are the shrinking, I had to reapeat the pit 4-5 times. But hey, my experience is so small and for shure I will use the still water on the ground, when I build the base on the Dio and then I can say more. Thanks Arno
  7. @Dave: Thanks for the link, I didn't know that there are so much heads around ( just wondering when I see some figures) and I really like that. @Steve: Your offer is absolutely great and yes I was hoping to find some one that is willing to help me. I have ordered one of the Tamiya infantry sets, just to try for my self, but with help from you it will be for shure lightyears better!!!!!! Thanks Arno
  8. Thanks Gentlemen for your tips and answers! Making a figure is absolutely new for me, but I agree that the guy with the BAR, would be great to start. Now I will start to look for this Horent head and hands, never heard about that, but that keeps things interesting! Oh and the boots! Thanks Arno
  9. Just perfect!!!!!!!!! Love your camo!! Your mottling come out wonderful! Arno
  10. Thanks for your kind words!!!!! @Anders Thanks for your tips, I already have found and printed out your page. I agree with you and the colors, I will try to lighten up the 75, but with 66? Isn't that not also pretty dark? Thanks Arno
  11. Hi George, Thanks for your answer! I think they are in 1/35 and I'm not really sure how they fit to the 1/32 Bf 109. Thanks Arno
  12. for my Herbert Maxis diorama: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/2872-herbert-maxis/ I would love to have this GI in the dio: But I have no idea how to do it or whatever. MAybe you can help me with an volunteer or a good idea. Thanks Arno
  13. Just worked after a longer brake on the main body interior. Searched a long time around to find something, that looks and fits like the MW50 behind the cockpit. Finally my wife Lilly brought me the missing part, Thanks Lilly! Build the radio racks and a few wirings, tubes and cables checked from the outside, I tried to come so close as possible to the original holes in the frame What you think?
  14. As you said, with a little clean out, it will look great! Not sure how nice they are done on the original.
  15. First time I tried the Vallejo still water, hey the snow melted and now I have water in the cockpit!
  16. Hi John! Thanks for your kind word's and they mean really something for me, from a master like you. Important for me was the thing with the cockpit floor, because first i taught it may looks like rust. Thanks Arno
  17. Fall more and more in love with your work!! Despite looking odd, this is not an easy camo! Congrats!! Arno
  18. After getting a friendship with the Vallejo Pigments, I get them a little on the engine and started the cockpit I like to make a wreck, so nearly everything is allowed!
  19. esterday I went to my airbrush shop a bought a few Vallejo things and played a little with that stuff. Maybe I can use it in this diorama?
  20. A few wires and a little color: The rest of the wires I will add after the engine is installed in the frame Arno
  21. John! that will be a wonderful last ditch 109 and I love those late german camo's. Nearly everything is allowed. Will follow with high interest. Thanks Arno
