This is the last 1:32 kit I finished. I built it over Christmas/New Year holiday 2013/14
Yes I know Lynx rotor blades don't droop, and I could find a satisfactory way of modelling the intake FOD guards, that apart it went together well.

Well I bet you think that it's a Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. You'd be right, and wrong
Immediately after the liberation of France in 1944, the production of Fi 156 at the Morane-Saulnier factory was continued at the request of the Armée de l'Air and designated MS 500. Production continued toll 1965 after some 925 aircraft had been built.
Started this old kit today and after about six hours work got it to this stage.

Flawless job, and on such a little plane. Impressive.
Thank you but I wouldn't call it flawless.
What a gorgeous scheme
Lovely build too. Seen the kit too, and it looks neat, especially the wing strut alignment trick.
Thanks, whilst the strut alignment is easier the joint to the wings is nowhere near as strong as their Gladiator even when rigged.

I was lucky enough to not only count Edgar as a friend but to have helped him when we was both researching K5054. We swapped notes (his was far more extensive than mine).
Edgar was a gentleman of the old school and a man of a generous nature both with his knowledge and friendship.
RIP Edgar

That's the sort of thing I normally forget
Forgot to mention, she is now going to be a Mk.I and not a Mk.II

Finally got back to the bench on Sunday and made some progress; rudder and tailplanes on, wingtips and lower engine cowl.
Small amount of Mr Disloved Putty required in the joins.
More next weekend

Good start Mish,
What is your opinion about the Revell Spit?
Cees
Not as good as the Tamiya (yes I know it's a later Mk) but vakue for money it's great I have to say that I think it needs a little AM resin and PE throwing at it
I've got another to build and so far I'm not put of building it.

Ahh that is one of my two cats, Titch, she oversees all my modelling either from the window of the back or the chair.

They're HGW and I haven't finished placing them yet

Made a start on this a few weeks ago but forgot to post here.
Started on the HGW Sutton Harness
And today I finished the harness
And reassembled the seat back into the cockpit.
And the side panels going on
And all buttoned up

I did look into the pricing for a friend in USA but we thought it would be prohibative.
Just done a quick check and for one 6 draw unit your looking a $20 for UPS on top of the price. Mindyou if you spend a lot I beleive you get the postage free, worth checking out.
