Thanks Paul, I'm no expert, in fact only built this one as I was given the kit, but I do love Shermans withput knowing much about them.

Nice work, got to love the tiffie

Yep ezline used for internal rigging and control lines and will be used for the external rigging and control lines.

Ah didn't realise the Eduard was a Sherman rather than a M-51. Like Jim says quite a lot different. New turret, gun, engine, trake, uprated suspention and different engine. But still the hull of a Sherman.

Nice builds. How did you achieve that muddy look on the mini?
Cees
Hi,
I used a mixture of Flory Models light wash and mud wash, loaded in the airbrush and shot at slightly higher pressure from about 30CM straight at the front of the car.

Thanks, never built a WnW or a WW1 plane in this scale before.
I'm going with the French Navy option, thus the fuselage colour not being the normal dark brown colour that seemed to be the norm with RFC
I'm trying to find out if the prop was a one piece unit or of laminated construction.

That looks a nice kit and a smart build!
I have the Eduard ProfiPACK Sherman here, with Tasca plastic. How do these kits compare?
I have no idea, sorry. I know less about tanks than I do about aircraft.
Nice build Mish. Love what the IDF did to the M4. Tasca/Asuka kits are top notch. Light years ahead of DML. Not saying anything wrong with the Dragon.
The M4 is my favourite along with the British Centurian. The only fault I can find with the Dragon is like a lot of their kits the instructions are a bit iffy.
Wow that looks fantastic!!
Thanks

I was very proud of this one when I built it back in 2011. Reckon I can do better now.
Build from 1:35 Acadamy M113
Titleled 'Charlie Don't Surf'

More done today
Wing struts in place
I have the upper wing on now but can't photograph it as the model is upside down on the bench, whilst the cement and joints set.
I'll try and update tomorrow.

Mish,
Good work- I really like the Mustang.
All the best
Ted
Sadly the decal company made a mistake with the aircraft profile and the invasion stripes come up too high. My fault for not spotting it an using a single source for reference.

The 'Tripe' is now a 'Bipe'

I ordered two more units the same day as Jim. I already had the two paint racks, they're made by MZ but are not part of the 'modular' range as they ar half as deep again. overver they will just sit on top of the modular units.
Will be ordering another two sets of drawes and two corner units next time I order.
