  1. Jeroen, You still haven't revealed the brand or where you ordered from. WTF? Let me rephrase that. Sharing is caring
  2. Impressive build as always, Jeroen.
  3. Living in the US, the only place I can find that stocks and actually ships their products is Hannants. For me, pretty expensive compared to their website. Tried KitLinx, listed their items as in stock a week ago, not shipping yet. I tried ordering from ProFiModeller and the website is non-functional as far as ordering.
  4. Wow, Gaz. But I built this exact kit back in the day. I saved money from my short-lived paper route and bought it at the local hobby shop. I think it was 2 bucks. My 1st 1/32 airplane kit. I remember having a hell of time getting the "bulge" to line up. So if you don't mind, I'll travel along on your journey to the past. Thanks
  5. FWR, the A-7 has always appealed to me. A late 50's design with a giant intake & jet engine. Your work is outstanding. No apology necessary in the least
  6. Dang, Cool. Don't what you're better at, building\finishing or photography. Obviously you know your stuff. Beautiful build all around.
  7. Jeroen, seeing people mention Shapeways is where I got the idea from. I imagined that they use industrial printers, i.e., accurate and very fast. Speed would be the main thing in making it profitable I would think. I'm just starting to investigate the current status of "affordable" 3D printers and trying to get a grip how good one has to be in order to create model quality pieces.
  8. The manufacturing company I work for is heavily into 3D printing for prototyping and has been for a long time. I've seen the advances and plummeting prices for the printers and wondering of anyone here is doing their own, what printer they're using etc. Thanks much
