The Spad was well known to be a big leaker of oil, my friend (US Navy ret'd - ex Spad Driver) told me that when out on missions he'd be paying a lot more attention to the oil gauge rather than the fuel one due to it's enormous appetite! Any model of this aircraft should always show oil leakage in large proportions, Tigger has it right and it's quite normal to look as he's depicted.

I wonder what the price is going to be? Nice subject, what with Panda Hobby as well coming into the 1/16 scale armour market things are looking decidedly up!! I'd love to see some soft skin stuff to go with it too, maybe some figures with the kit would be nice.

Latest web intel/guess? is fourth quarter of 2013. I too am waiting for this kit, the 109 got a very fair review so I'm hoping the Spitty will be of the same calibre. Here's hoping!
