Ivan, I thought of that. But there absolutely no room on the bottom. I have my 1000 lb. bombs there. It will also have 2 under wing gas bags

I was thinking the same thing. After Ivan post, it got me thinking. OR a wing mounter pod like my Corsair radar was. Interesting in what we can come up with....harv

Ivan, you make a good point there. It is a "what if" an advanced long range bomber. I have to dig into this more. Thanks everyone, but please post more if you find info......harv

I remembered that Dragon did a night fighter version of the Ho229 years ago. Here's their take on it.

The radar is mounted to the nose on a long pole.
I have seen drawings of this and built kits. Interesting. But I'm kinda leaning to wing mounted radar

Thanks Rob. I remember that one, piece of art. But miles beyond my humble ability. I'll stick to plastic thank you.....harv

Hmmm, it could work on the wings. There is very little room on the 229 nose. One question, would these be used for ground targets ?. This place and people are awesome!!!....harv

Harv, do you really want resin parts that fragile?
The Revell He-219 A-0/A-2 comes with two different antenna configurations (either step 70 or step 71 in the instructions):
I would think the ones that come out straight might be better on the Horten (too close to the intakes otherwise?). If you want them, you know what to do.
I think the outward arms be better. Small nose and the engines are buried deep. But seems all the sets don't include the arms......harv
