I have found two pictures where grenades are green and are protruding from launcher. And all others all black and no protruding. So are those black things rubbery shield/Lid from water entering launcher?!? what do you think? -

I meant the grenades themselves, not launcher. But this first photo is excellent because it shows rubbery boot which shields wires behind👍. I will look into that other forum also with photos. -

Does your reference say what color should smoke grenade be? Black or green? -

I need info please. I do not have seen this CITV "wane" in ANY reference photos or internet. Is this made by trumpeter imagination or is this deleted on early SEP development phase? -

Thanks!😀 I will try to get those armor slats ready today. I will add more dust and exhaust stains. Then varnish. -

Testing out bits. Ammo boxes, spare wheel, tow bar, water, fuel, tow shackle, mud scrapers, oil spill buckets and smoke granade containers. -

Yes. True. With car build colors have to be immaculate, because there is no weathering. -

Thanks Rob🙂 I paint in sequences, because that's how my brain works😄. I have some idea how tracks and wheels would be like. Then i test out colors. If they work then i can experiment on other parts. It is easier to mess up wheels than whole lower/upper structure. Slat armor idea came up when i was outside in nature. What is your thought process when deciding color scheme/weathering? -

Have you acquired reference materials? If not i recommend Ammo mig M1A2 SEP in detail book. It is the best when it comes to small details. -

I would recommed using MASTON PLASTIC primer with this product. It makes painting the main color easier. -

From a rattle can. For first i used TS-46 light sand. But this is quite expensive and only 100 ml net volume. I used one can to suspension arms and wheels. I calculated that i would buy 4-5 more of these😬. I noticed one automotive paint called maston camouflage ral 1001 beige ultra matt. It is almost same color. 95% people wouldn't know the difference if they saw colors side by side🧐. This cost much less and it is 400 ml net volume. Sprays better and do not smell as bad. -

I am making new "slat armor" to engine exhaust. Stock parts are too thick. I used brass sheet and tamiya plastic rod and super glue. This is not gonna be the most beautiful part. Pro builder would have used solder and brass pipe + jig. But then again real pictures show that this part gets easily damaged anyway.
