franck Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Hello Folk's,is there any rules to paint the Hawker Typhoon wheel bay it seems that it was left aluminum,or could it be painted the same color as the bottom wing's???Thank you in advance for four help,Franck. benjaminsummerfield Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 i dont think there's any hard and fast rule, i always do RAF under carriage bays silver. The undercarriage legs are almost certainly silver, but no reason it couldnt have been sprayed the under surface colour by a maintenance unit. no doubt they were both.
