JohnB
I plan to convert my -1 Birdcage kit to a -1A. Since I have lots of left over parts from previous builds it should be easy peasy. What is needed is: Replace the wind screen and canopy with a -1A set. Replace the turtleback and rear cockpit pieces with ones from a -1A. Add a length of tubing on the tail wheel to get the lengthened version. A correctly shaped armor piece is also needed. I decided to scratch one. Not real pretty but useable. There are a few differences in the cockpit instruments. I intend to leave as is. Like I said, easy peasy. 🙂 8

JohnB
As it is as of this early afternoon. (The piece of card taped to the tail is to protect the stub antenna.) I'm gonna set it aside for a bit and take a rest from building.
