Tamiya / DEF Model Zimmerit decals

Hey, has anyone used these products ? I saw that the Tamiya sets you have to cut the Zimmerit

from the backing while the Def Model product are water-slide decals. I bought the DEF MODEL.

Any comments/advice would be helpful.

I haven't tried them but I do have a set for the Rye Field  Sturmtiger in the stash. They looked like a decent and reasonably priced option for zimmerit.

I have a set for the Tamiya Sturmtiger and I bought a set for Tamiya's  Brummbar. I was able to get the Sturmtiger

using points on Amazon... Otherwise I would have bought The RFM kit. I'll look at the instructions tomorrow when my 

Sturmtiger arrives. Apparently, most Sturmtigers had Zimmerit during the war.....not the Museum examples however.

I thought it would be worth a try😀
