I plan to build this one as Lt. Brubaker's a/c in the movie The Bridges at Toko Ri. It's the old Monogram kit that I started on some years back but put back in the box for "later". Now is "later". It's a great movie except for the ending. 🥲

I built the same kit about 6/8 months back same plane Brubaker's it looks the part when done not quite done here more a nostalgia build and not many pics.

Looks good Kevin! Easy kit to build but that brittle plastic can be a bear. 🙂

Here's how it is today. I'm waiting for a canopy mask set so I can get that done before the GDSB and silver can be applied.

I plan to use this enamel paint on the Panther but first I have a question. Have any of you used it and what was your impression? What thinner is best? Thanks.

I’ve used their lacquer on a car model. Straight from the bottle, no additional thinner. It sprayed very good. Clean up with hardware store lacquer thinner. 
 

edit: well, I guess I didn’t read very well, enamel. I think they sell thinner too. I would use their thinner just because I assume they have tested with their thinner and it probably works well.

John I use MrColor leveling thinned in everything lacquers,enamels and acrylic's hell I even use it in my future floor wax makes dry quicker.

Interesting! I found that if it's not thinned enough it won't spray well and looks "orange peelie". I tried Testor's enamel thinner and it works okay. Humbrol not too well. Thanks for the input Dave! 🙂

I'll have to try some out Kevin. Sounds like a good thinner! 🙂
