Wingco57 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Share Posted February 26, 2014 It's done! Had the day off and just finished the Meteor. A thoroughly enjoyable build I hasten to add. The basic kit is excellend and quite complete. Here's the end result next to the obligatory Can to show the size. It's big and heavy but does fit my display case, but only just. Wingco57 Posted February 28, 2014 Author Share Posted February 28, 2014 It's really done now. Thanks for Luuk Boerman of Dutch Decals for pointing out that the red nose was a Squadron colour. For "Cupola" the red section was made to cover almost the entire nose area. Also weathered the intake rims a bit to get the impression of flaked off silver paint and the mahogany showing through.
