Administrators Clunkmeister Posted December 2, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 2, 2019 So my Fisher September Fury kit is missing one of the prop blades. Tony mentioned that Sea Furies reengined with Pratt power use a Skyraider prop, so I looked. The Trumpeter prop isn’t even close, and the ZM prop is close, but a touch too short, too wide by a smidge, and has the wrong shaped tip. So I get to somehow attempt my first resin casting job. Question: can a good mold be made from a resin piece? I need an exact copy....
smitty44
Could one be printed?

A bunch of compound curves make it tough. It needs to be exact. One different prop blade will stand out huge.
krow113
Did my Gotha 4 bladers in metal after a few minor resin casting issues. I think making another one to fit from scratch is out , easy enough for one blade to be cast..
Old Dog
Might be better to just cast all four, that way the issue of one looking different would go away
