Yes, we know what happens when you type "Hot Models", mate. No need to be ashamed.
Actually it is merely when I type in Large Scale Models

That's nothing. Sometimes google search on my phone, when I am searching for "modeling" stuff yields some crazy results. ALOT of these types of Japanese dolls are full blown involved in pornographic poses. Those up there are timid in comparison.

I apologize to those who like this sort of thing, but what a waste of time.
Agreed. I think Squadron will be trying to sell of the run they molded for a long time.

Over ST Mere Eglaise. There may have been more Haunebu over Normandy than Luftwaffe props.

HPH is releasing a DC-3, but then there is the price thing. I have to say heavily camoflauged isn't your problem, a lot of military aircraft yet to be kitted out there but won't be because they didn't carry anything under their wings.

Nostalgia is big at the moment...
Lego. Board Games. Re-imagined movie streams of the 40 year old Star Wars saga and 50 year old Comic characters. Plastic Modelling is part of all that nostalgia.
The Hobby is fine. I'm more disappointed with Zoukei Mura... No Old Man blog for 6 months, nothing apparently at Shizuoka, and I'm still waiting to hear back about my pre-ordered Ki-45 kit from February.
Well they announced a P-51B, a 109(I think), and AR 234. Still have that crazy Henschel on the way. Bummer about your pre order for sure though.

We definitely see shifting market .
The problem is , when I grow old , unable to sniff Tamiya Extra thin anymore, you guys will be all dead and there will be no-one to buy my sash. I will be force to dump it to recycling and environmentalists will be burning crosses in my yard .
*burning them with rechargeable battery operated candles

John was referring to Tamiya and Hasegawa. Also 80% of those releases are just re-box stories. Yet , I am very happy that 1/32 scale is getting so much attention.
I know, but to say the market is fading because of that does not appear to me accurate to me. I was pointing out what I have seen.

Seems like we stood there forever while they went through the junior awards in Phoenix. I dont really know that a lot of young folks parents would be dropping a 100 plus on model kits anyways.

Martin is not a model finisher, he is a model builder. Huge difference.
