So I just replaced the second sway bar link and noticed that my front control arm bracket bolt was 2,3 threads loose. The bracket itself was basically held in place by only one bolt. Scary. oh and as the new batch of snow almost melted away , my car cover arrived. with a shark fin…..

Any thoughts on the ICM 1/48 B-26 Marauder? Is it worth $100?
Martinnfb replied to CANicoll's topic in Modelling Discussion
Little birdie told me that the new ICM Marauder is one of the best 1/48 twins out there, in terms of engineering and dimensions. -

I think that the French industrial / technological achievements are criminally underrated. Their designs are unique, functional and tasteful. Tanks, aeroplanes , cars, ships, you name it. Their product is amongst the coolest out there. -

I actually never built one. Maybe I should finish it in proper marking instead of fooling around with what-if IDF scheme.

So the rear is more /less done, diff cover will go on with the oil change. I received the Moog sway bar link kit, this so-call "kit" was containing one link. Way to confuse the hell out customer. So I ordered a second one and with the time to spare, painted the first one…. Don’t ask then I dropped this turd on the ground to adjust the centre of the rear axle and evaluate. ....need those new 19x10 wheels pronto!

Nice to see you back on this one John. The engineering complexity of this kit is what I was wondering about when I saw the CAD drawings for the first time. Not a Tamiya/Martin friendly kit for sure Looking good and moving fast as usually . Cheers Martin

Rear end is all buttoned up. For now. Diff cover will be replaced with aluminum one with drain plug soon. … the rubber bits as a grim reminder of an ominous slug of death … wait what!?
