I decided to re-install the original coil springs in the rear. Two reasons, a softer ride and restoring my driveshaft/pinion angle thus eliminating that nasty clunk that has become apparent after I switched to a single piece, aluminium driveshaft. Now I have the gnarly looking muscle car rake Then I destroyed the hard work of all those good folks at the Ford Motor company, who were trying to imitate ( tune) the iconic sound of Steve McQueen's 68 fastback movie car . In order to do so, I removed the baffle plate from the h-pipe. And now for the worst part, no change in sound! Oh no! Now, I've secured a spot in Ford hell. And Martin said: "Let there be flow" and there was a flow. And Martin saw that the flow was good, and He equalized the pressure in both banks, increasing torque and decreasing the drone. Obviously the FoMoCo Hell is not the only one I have a spot booked in.

The exposed panel line effect looks really cool, much better than standard wash would do. Nicely inconsistent, in my eyes very realistic. -

Nice!

KV-1- ish? seems familiar Edit: Obviously it's on the top of the page. Jeeez Martin! -
I would say, cancel the order Paul. He repeatedly projected that this is the path that would solve it, at least in his/hers eyes. Cancel it, take your money elsewhere. market is saturated and highly competitive , no need to waste your energy.

That looks really good Carl. Well done! -
I was thinking about converting 1/40 Revell X-5 to Me 1101 a while back, but the differences are quite substantial. Probably not worth the effort either way.

Thank you for the suggestions gentlemen. I was contemplating Soviet livery in natural metal finish and the white X-5/NACA marking as well. Not sure yet. Carl suggested the Korean War camouflage. As soon as the Tim Horten is done I will reevaluate.

Pulling out my comfy chair. This is going to be epic. Cheers Martin
