Peter , I truly running out of superlatives. This is a work of art, labour of love on steroids. I just showed it to my wife who is a goldsmith and works with metal of intricate shapes and sizes and she fully agrees with my sentiments. I don't know how you do it, but keep doing it. -
It is funny how the old Classic Airframes moldings are still so superior to the SM 79 from the relatively recent Trumpeter release. We should have Mediterranean Gb at some point.

Thank you Peter, I am not sure about the final result, the primer is drying as we speak and it will expose the imperfections to deal with. But the hardest part is done and I can move to the next step, the dreaded bomb racks. Perhaps I should drop the side step as well, they often flew with it unretracted. as you can see on the pictures below.

Second that. Looking at the nose art makes me wonder, what kind of animal was the artist trying to portrait, bat, cat, shark, fish, or all of the above ? -
Thank you guys. The walkways are not blended yet, still working on chipping, that will be sealed with a layer of satin and oils will be used together with exhaust staining . Predominantly on the side of the engines. I am trying to achieve broken down look with multiple techniques. Fingers crossed. Update . As I was adding that little air intake on the right side of the nose I have realized that the a/c I intended to build has different exhaust/cowling layout. Somehow I missed out on that. So there is a change of aeroplane. A-20G-25-DO 'white 40', s/n 43-9168, of 51 MTAP (mine-torpedo air regiment) of the Baltic Fleet in the summer of 1944. This one had a small cupola, astro dome installed behind the gun position and slightly different camouflage. Well , silly me. Still I can preserve the additional glazing and the external bomb racks I've been piecing together.
