Yes there are resin doors in the kit and you just need to cut holes in the fuselage for them. And it will all be nicely visible. We'll see when the model is finished and from that it will be visible. I'm struggling on because there are more waiting in the queue.
-
Only one more door remains to be cut out and the hull can be painted and closed.
-
It's not my interest but I received a Gannet as a gift and I need to make one, so I'm building it straight out of the box. But yes I'm steaming and I will say it looks beautiful, such a beauty it will be.

Cabin interior pre-assembled and prepared for painting.

Another model on the workshop this time it is a Fairey Gannet AEW.3 in 1:72 scale from the company ‘Sword’. In the box, in addition to the frames, we have resin parts, a sheet of film and a mask, that is the model with extras. The decal sheet includes markings for two machines, the model to be built will be in box camouflage with HMS ‘Ark Royal’.

(RFI) F5-E Freedom Tiger 1:48 EDUARD Vietnam
Kriss replied to Kriss's topic in LSM 1/48 Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Thanks, you know every model is easy just with some the trowel takes longer. I for one have WWI models planned for later this year, I've already ordered myself a Caproni Ca.3 from Lukgraph in 1:48 and am waiting for its release. -

I sometimes get like this when I'm off duty and sit down at a model and sometimes it's finished. Thanks for liking it. -
I would like to present another completed model, and that is the F5-E Freedom Tiger in 1:48 scale from Eduard, along with the extras I added to it. The build went literally at an express pace, the model itself and the extras fit perfectly, a very enjoyable build. And this is how the model of the aircraft F5-E ‘Freedom Tiger’ 73-00878, 63rd Tactical Wing, RVNAF, Bien Hoa, South Vietnam, 1974 looks like.

The last workshop photo shows the already completed 1:48 scale F5-E Freedom Tiger model from Eduard, together with the extras I added to it. The build went literally at an express pace, the model itself and the extras fit perfectly, a very enjoyable build. A weekend at home and preparing for Christmas with the tidying up and the F5 model in the background, yes alternating with almost a night at the model. I wanted to keep taking photos of the progress of the build and when I realised I hadn't taken photos the model was almost assembled and already the start of the camouflage. And the fact that it folded without any problems and the extras fit so super too, the build went at a truly express pace. Nothing but cutting, cutting and sanding. I will make up for this with the next F5, yes the same version and the same additions but a different user. Revealing to you this one is in a museum near me, 130 kilometres from my home. -

Work got underway and there was a bit of cutting, a bit of sanding and also a bit of gluing and something is already visible and can be painted. -
My workshop doesn't like emptiness so an F5-E Freedom Tiger in 1:48 scale from Eduard has landed on it. It is not an Eduard release but a repackaged model. I have found some interesting extras for it which I will use in the model. The painting will be in Vietnam camouflage. So much introduction so I'm getting to work.

Thanks for liking it and it's already been at the show and you're right not only did it stand out but it surprised everyone with its design. -
(WIP) Curtiss A-8 „SHRIKE” 1:48 Czech Model
Kriss replied to Kriss's topic in LSM 1/48 Work in Progress
To conclude the workshop I present a completed 1:48 scale Curtiss A-8 ‘Shrike’ model from Czech model company. Despite the fact that it has its years and is made as a short run with the addition of resin parts and a vacu cockpit cover it was very pleasant to build, the parts fit and the decal worked well with liquids. The model depicts machine serial number 32-347, #80 from 37th Assault Squadron, Landgley Field, Virginia circa 1934. -
(RIF) “Northumbrian” 1830 – Świat z kartonu 1:35 test
Kriss replied to Kriss's topic in Non LSM Ready for Inspection.
That's very kind of you and thank you very much, and so honestly I would like to be able to paint myself. Now it is I have such a set to help because and the years are doing their thing. -
This is the test model of the 1830 ‘Northumrian’ locomotive in 1:35 scale made as a 3D printout and the publisher is the ‘World of Cardboard’ company. The construction went without any problems, the parts fit together and I can't but recommend the model and invite you to the gallery. I would like to thank the ‘Swiat z kartonu’ company for the model I received.

The stretches managed to be done and somehow they look good. All that remains is for me to put all the loose parts together and the model will be ready.
