  1. Yes there are shooting positions there, there are two on the top forward and backward and on the underside too, and on the sides of the fuselage.
  2. And another model completed and the photos go to the gallery, S.M. 79-II "Sparviero", 283 squadriglia, 130 gruppo autonoma, Mediterranean 1942. feel free to visit the gallery.
  3. Model completed, I know there are some inaccuracies but I wanted to do it straight from the box. In summary the build went smoothly, the parts fitted together, a pleasure. Now I have one more "Sparviero" model waiting for me, but this one will be from the EDUARD kit. The last photo is in the workshop and for the rest I invite you to the gallery.
  4. Finally managed to take photos for the gallery, I know photos taken quickly but you can see something on them. I invite you to view the gallery of the Northrop P-61 A "Black Widow" model. - "Lady Gen", Florennes, Belgium, december 1944.
  5. Some aircraft had a milky radar cover and it could be seen. I had planned to make it like that but unfortunately in place of the radar I had to give a load so that it was standing on the landing gear rather than sitting on the tail.
  6. The painting of the markings from the masks as well as the laying of the decals was successful, not everything had to be painted from the masks. The end is near so it is high time to look around for the next model.
  7. I finished last night and forgive me but I didn't want to post anymore, I was too sleepy. For now the camouflage has been applied at the ready, I still have to use the paint masks and decals. Ps. Thanks for the hints.
  8. This kind of camouflage not yet finished but already happy, I still have some left to finish.
  9. The beginning of the game, this is the moment I always enjoy. Painting freehand without masking or stencils. By the way you can see my mess on my makeshift workshop. I am waiting for the end of the renovation at home to move to an already normal workshop.
  10. After a long break, the P.24B is also back in the workshop. By reviewing the documentation and available materials and photos, and consulting with colleagues, I changed the colour of the underside to Polish blue instead of silver.
  11. After a long break I am slowly getting back to the "Bison", but I already know that the work will go on and on for a long time. And I have a vision of what the finished model should look like. I have already managed to gather all the available documentation, at least I think so. And of the extras that can be added to it are a set of bombs from MIRAGE, pilot belts and rifles. My plan is to build all the Polish aircraft models then I have already bought various rifles in advance as you can see in the picture. So now I'm taking on the lower rear gunner's position.
  12. Base on top laid and now it will be fun to play with camouflage.
  13. Thanks for the materials provided. The white stripe on the fuselage painted and masked and I did the same with the underside.
  14. A bit of fun and the torpedo including the mount is almost ready, one will be suspended and the other on a trolley. This is my plan. And here I have a small problem, namely how to paint the torpedo? I'm asking because I have several different versions and I don't know which is the correct one. And the next problem is does anyone have drawings of the transport trolley for the torpedo? I would be extremely grateful.
  15. Undercarriage flaps replaced with new sheet metal. Still a torpedo and it will be possible to start playing with the camouflage.
  16. With a small interlude the work continues, preparation for painting. But with this interlude I will boast because such an interlude is a challenge and a very big one. I had to postpone everything for the express construction of the Polish aircraft TS-11 "Iskra" in 1:72 as a birthday present for the pilot who made his first flight on it.
  17. Work continues, the sheet metal is assembled and the interior is ready.
  18. So undercarriage shin together with tailwheel corrected, but still almost all of it will be out of sight.
  19. Pre-assembled cabin interior including instrument panel from YAHU and belts from EDUARD. p.s. Thanks for the kind words and help, especially the photo because I saw some interesting things there.
  20. S.M.79 - II "Sparviero" 1:48 Trumpeter Just for relaxation and to de-stress in the break between building PZL P.24B and LWS-6 "Żubr" and renovation at home, I threw on the workshop such a quick project almost straight out of the box. Model S.M.79-II "Sparviero" in 1:48 from Trupeter and from the extras are: -YAHU MODELS - YMA4840 Instrument panel -MONTEX - Maxi mask MM 48026 -PART S48-121 exterior -EDUARD Seatbelts Italy The model has been known for years so only these photos to start with go. By the way this will be such a tease to paint the Italian camouflage while waiting for the call from the shop that my S.M.79 "Sparviero" model from EDUARD in 48 is now available for collection.
  21. Looking at the documentation and photos, there are modified locks on the engine cover outside the prototype to open it. Seemingly nothing but such a small detail I did on the cowl.
  22. Well, I'm off with the build. To start with a working plan, or what the finished model should look like. The manufacturer gives in the model an open front and half of the bomb bay. And I want to open both chambers and the lower rear gunner's position, the bomb armament is not included as well as the rear gunner's position is empty and closed. Now coming back to the model the fuselage in the 48 is in two parts and the 32 is in four. The first cut is the gunner's stand, the material is more brittle than resin and cutting goes but you have to be very careful. And I managed to cut, now only to make the interior I have to.
  23. I looked at the documentation I had and didn't even know how much of this goodness I had. And this is from the following publications: "KAGARO", "MILITARIA", "POD LUPĄ", TBiU and "STRATUS" and collected over the years. And the pilot's cockpit came to the forefront, I have retrofitted the missing parts and wires, it is a pity that all this will not be visible. There are two clocks on the right frame, but in the instructions they are all black and in the photos you can see the numbers on them and I put them there too. On the right-hand clock I smeared the clock surround and glazed it as it is in the photos and plans.
