  1. That looks awesome Dave. Well done. Cheers, Wolf
  2. Greetings and salutations Rob,

I was searching online for a Tamiya P-38 Lightning build and came across yours. I must compliment you on a superb build and choice of markings!

Regarding the markings and the Bombshell decal sheet you used, do you still have the portion of the decal sheet that includes Virginia Marie/Margaret? If so, would you be interested in parting with them? I would be happy to pay for them at a reasonable price. Please PM me or e-mail me at buddeewolf@gmail.com

    Cheers,

      Hello Wolf,

I´m glad you liked my P-38 build. The main reason, I chose Wicked Women was, it needed no masking over the applied rivets and NMF.
My initial intention was to build Virginia Marie Margaret, because of the vivid scheme, which I may do in a future build. That´s why I´m sorry to tell you, I will keep the decals for that occasion.
Generally I can say, they behaved very well and had only minimal carrier film, splendid Cartograph quality. They are still available. I bought mine from Hannants, where they are still in stock.

      Cheers Rob

Thanks for getting back to me Rob,

No worries regarding the Virginia Marie/Margaret decals.I thought I would ask in the event you weren’t going to use them. I did find that Hannants had them  so I’ll be ordering from them tomorrow. I have the Hasegawa P-38 with those markings but I’m hoping the Bombshell nose art is a bit nicer than Hasegawa’s rendition. That and I want to sell the Hasegawa kit intact.

      Cheers,

Thank-you Sir! I rode for many years, the last ride was 3,800 kilometres in September of 2019, so building this bike brought back some wonderful memories. Cheers, Wolf
