hi guys

have emailed then via their website (always hate doing that - never sure it gets through)

http://www.scaleprecision.com/index.html

but no answer after 3 days

@Moeggo / Dave...

I know you rave about them so want to give them a go, but not even a reply just to acknowledge and i am a trifle disappointed

i have a prepared file i want to email them / share with them via DropBox

got any "real" contact details (anyone)?

looked on Facebook but their name is too generic for me to find them if they are there

cheers guys

Nick

Thanks Rick!

Will drop him a line.

Now that Maketar don't do custom jobs, and AdAstra have gone dark as far as I can work out, he is the only game in town for custom masks.

Hence I guess you can be a bit more blasé about service...

Will let you know how I get on...

Cheers again

Nick,

I recommend from experience that you try Miracle Masks. Mal Mayfield runs this and is a great guy. He did the masks for my Mosquito build.

He can create custom masks of anything, just needs a picture.

email: miraclemasks@hotmail.com

web: http://www.freewebs.com/miraclemasks/

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/miraclemasks

Hope this helps!

Chris.

for sure Nick.

Joe did custom masks for my P80B.  He was very helpful and turn time was efficient.

Tell him you were referred my me.

Interesting stuff on the Maketar site about kabuki vs vinyl

In a nutshell they say vinyl for small precision stuff but kabuki for large masks, because vinyl shrinks

My montex masks have shrunk a tiny bit, but my AdAstra ones have shrunk so much that they are unusable.

Would be interested in Radu Brinzan's input here, especially as he is launching a new mask range...
