smitty44 Posted July 10, 2022 Share Posted July 10, 2022 Many of you know I spend a bunch of time at airshows, and while costs may see me at fewer this year there is one I had to share. 25 years ago I went to the best air show I have ever seen, and that is saying a lot. It was the 50th bithday for the Air Force, and the 50th anniversary of Yeager breaking the sound barrier. The place was Edwards Air Force Base. This year it is the 75th, and again probably the best line up you will ever see, minus General Yeager unfortunately. Everything the Air Force, and NASA has in the air and on the ground at the most hallowed place in aviation. I have a room reserved around the corner from the air and space port in Mojave.
