Luftwaffe Sheet metal markings

Who can explain to me ( or a link on the WWW )  where these markings were placed.

They could appear on any unpainted surface.  So, if you were doing a plane with some damage, these could appear on the interior sheet aluminum parts.

This was factory stamping of the aluminium sheets, with the name and parameters of the material. There were several different suppliers.  As Gas said usually installed inwards.
