The Spitfire notes from Edgar Brooks (and others)

Not my work at all , but given Edgar died in 2015 I'm guessing there is no copyright . He was one of the first people I chatted to on TOS many years ago , as he lived only a short distance away at the time and offered me some Future when it was hard to get. Nice guy .

Yes Edgar was extremely  knowledgeable  about the Spitfire.. very useful information  was always to hand  when you asked Edgar.

Super nice gentleman. His  information  was and is priceless.

I have quite a collection of Edgar's comments and refer to them all the time, I looked up the origins of Ocean Grey this very morning and found a Britmodeller thread that he contributed to from 2011 with some excellent information.

 

Definately sorely missed

What I can't believe is that it was 2015 when the brilliant Edgar passed away.
8 years! Seems like only yesterday..
