Matt_
OK, just found this mentioned on another site and thought it'd be appreciated here. Lots of atmospheric footage, much detail for the setting of the Jastas.. http://www.ushmm.org/online/film/search/result.php?FilmVideo__StartDoc=1&FilmVideo__sort=score&FilmVideo__search_type=simple&FilmVideo__Query=fokker&FilmVideo__is_digitized_cb_1=&FilmVideo__is_digitized_cb_0=true Hope you enjoy. Administrators JeroenPeters Posted December 29, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2013 THANK YOU! This is some amazing stuff... The preparations, the happy faces... and the very weathered look of the planes. Great stuff. Thnx Matt!
Matt_
I was surprised at how mucky the aircraft looked...Even Voss' F1, which you'd think would receive high levels of maintenance looks quite stained. I think I am most interested in the shots of the airfields, the tent style hangars and general look of the places.... very useful.. Matt
JonathanReed
Amazing stuff eh? It is hard to imagine living in that time. I guess you become what your surroundings are, and you cant miss what you never had. But still hard to believe that the chances of life ending were so high and you do what is required of you. Amazing. Sorry for getting all philisophical. LOL!
