logan181 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 I would say try the tail wheel of a bf 110. I'm fairly certain the engineers had access to these parts, just like the 109 main wheels. Makes perfect sense in a logistical way. 4

The nose is now a separate section with a hole for the pit, nose wheel and air intake. The rear fuselage is now hollow to accommodate the fuel tanks and wing sweep mechanism. 8 1

Fitted them to the rest of the model and now I understand how they struggled to fit everything in the fuselage. The legs will need serious tweaking to fit around the engine. 4 1

Because it'would be almost identical to Me-262 cockpit arrangement, and it looks logical assuming that pilots would come with Me-262 experiences.
