This one's been in my stash for quite a while and now is the time to build it. Should be a easy build with little or no after market stuff except for the decals. This Navy bird on this Aeromaster sheet will be the subject.

WOW, even for you, this has to be a new record. Fit looks perfect and I'm ready for your upcoming painting photos in a few days' time. :construction:

It's such a basic kit there's no problem at all in getting it built and ready for paint, etc. My only problem is it's hard for me to clearly see the little dark colored parts such as the landing gear assembly clearly. Lots of good lighting is necessary!

I expect to have it painted and start decaling today.

Amazing and even a new record for you. 🥇

A few of the benefits of 48th scale to my way of thinking: Variety of subject, smaller display space and of cost on the average.

LOL Peter, thanks. I agree about the benefits of 1/48. The only "problem" is the parts are smaller (especially the very small fiddle-bits) which makes it a bit difficult to see them and attach them. Chalk that up though to my 76 year old eyes! :)

HI John

Same deal here with my 76-year-old eyes and hands and of course, throw in the quickly declining lack of coordination these days. I work now almost 100% under a LED magnifying lamp, tripled the room lightening and use tweezers more then ever. Of course, I spend as much time looking for parts I've dropped on the floor as building and try to avoid getting on my hands and knees to look for parts, as getting up is a whole deal unto itself. 😉

I know what you mean about dropping parts and having to search for them. Seems to happen on nearly every build!

Dang that was fast! Looks good!  John if you build any faster, on your next build the RFI will be posted BEFORE the WIP comes out!

Yep, it was fast but it's such a simple and easy to build kit there was no reason to string it out over time. I decided to just proceed with it. :) I'm glad you like the model.
