Here are some pics of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's Lancaster Mk X FM213. This is one of only 2 airworthy Lancasters in the world.

Most of the photos were taken during the  Heritagecon model show that is held at the museum annually. I'll see about adding to the album at the next show.

The top 3 photos are of ship VRR before it was converted to VRA (Vera). That occurred 10years ago I believe. How long ago did you visit the museum?

The time frame sounds about right. The museum was having a Father's Day show that year and changed the markings on VR-A to VR-R for the event. They were temporary and they reverted back to the VR-A markings shortly after.
