rkranias
I recently acquired Trumpy's P40B. What is the real 411 on the cockpit floor? Incorrect slope? Aftermarket replacement: Lone Star? CMK? Thanks for your help - Rick
Matt_
Too shallow I thought Rick I'm also sure that I've read that the CMK replacement doesn't actually correct the depth! Not sure about Lone Star? I've seen a couple of builds where folk have deepened the parts themselves... Matt
Dave J
Yea its too shallow. CMK pit doesn't fix the issue. You want a Lone Star or a Cutting Edge pit if you can find one!
Paulster
Was checking out the original review of the Cutting Edge set by Brett Green. MSRP was $22.95. That's a laugh now.

Hi Dave You sure about that? I had the kit plus CMK pit a while back (now sold) and am sure i remember dry fitting pit and fuselage and the resin pit is markedly deeper : set lower down than the kit pit Am I going nuts? On second thoughts, don't answer that N
