Hideously expensive? Maybe to some. But if you look at it from a sufferer of sever AMS syndrome, its actually quite reasonable. I bought a trumpy SU-30 MKK and would be embarrassed to say how much I spent on AM for it.

NOT embarrassed about how awesome I thought it turned out, but in the scheme of things my HpH Me-410 (had on several occasions bid on the later of the SB Me-410 releases when they appeared on E-bay for ridiculous amounts) came with color Eduard PE, and great resin accessories that I might otherwise be tempted to spend the amount that the kit cost again just on AM.

 

So in that context its quite good value for the money.

Uhhhhhhmmmmm, Rick?.... Look what the dog dragged in?...... Got it at the IPMS UK Kit Swap for GBP 70,-, about $110... Not hideously expensive, but then again, I didn't sell any of my models for it (much to the chagrin of Yvonne!)

nice snag my friend.  albeit, would have rather like to see Yvonne club you a few whacks with the rolling pin. 

 

i am so anxious to start mine.  must finish current builds then remodel my bench before I start any new projects.  the bench is getting make over, building tables myself. three sections of 48"w x 24"d x 36"h (122cm x 61cm x 91cm) metric measure is rounded off.  will allow me to execute multiple builds at the same time with some sense of organization and room to navigate.

 

right now my bench is a CF with 3 builds going on at the same time.
