Pasi Ahopelto Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Hello, I'd like to participate with DFW C.V, which I started to build today. Few cuts on plastic and couple of drops glue so far, but mid-December is three months away and sounds entirely feasible. I haven't yet decided whether it'll be Grey-Green "7" (January 1917), or what's on cover art, but I have three pages of instructions to make up my mind 1
rick geisler Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I am looking forward to watching your progress! RAGIII

Administrators Fran Posted September 21, 2015 Administrators Posted September 21, 2015 Fantastic subject! Looking forward to see this one!! Go for it!
Pasi Ahopelto Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Thanks. Completed cockpit on Friday. As an experiment I made control cables out of thin thread hardened with CA glue instead of EZ line. They are oversize and rough, although they were very easy to install. Anyway for external rigging I'll use EZ line. This is out-of-box except rigging.
Pasi Ahopelto Posted November 1, 2015 Author Posted November 1, 2015 Thanks, and some progress: I'll probably add oil stains to lower engine half. It looks quite clean now. Six weeks to deadline. May get bit tight, but let's see... 1
