Airfix 1/48 Hurricane Mk1

Before I make a start on the big stuff, I have a few 1/48 to build first and get my skills up to scratch. This is the first one. I am going to make it as a 111 Sqn aircraft based at Dyce in 1941. The only AM I am using is the pilot and ground crew set from Dartmoor Military Models.

The plastic is quite soft.

His feet are nowhere near the rudder pedals, but as the plane is at rest I think he can be forgiven :-)

 

This is my first "New tool" kit and I have to say I am really enjoying how well it is going together.
