Sir Desmond Glazebrook
Great drummer. A shame he passed away. He couldn't afford health care and the system wouldn't help. "And so he died." Name the song that's from.

Who did Robert Plant hire to play on his album? Richie Hayward. Little feat drummer, who was one of the greatest drummers of his generation. Ask Tony Levin of King Crimson what he thinks about Richie. BTW, ALL popular western/American music is based on the clave. Heavy metal, funk, RnB, it is ALL the same. Often a person's taste was chosen by another person in the Marketing section of record label. 99 times out of 100. I have been in those meetings. There is no style of music. There is just music.

There is no style of music. There is just music. Despite my American heritage, I truly believe that the best music ever made was created by young Englishmen who may or may not have been experimenting with drugs in the late 60's and early 70's. There are some American standouts like Hendrix and the Doors... but I'm sure they may have been experimenting, too. Just the way I feel about it. I experienced too much Country music from the old man's 8-tracks. Gaz
Sir Desmond Glazebrook
Of course mate. Sorry to give you a hard time. I mean it mainly in jest but without hearing my voice it is hard to decipher. Basically I am laughing ALL the time. I think any opinion of mine is worthless. Except for teaching. I am an expert teacher. Anything else though mate it's me. A moron laughing at himself. There's not enough smiles in the world. We should talk on the phone. When you hear me you will get it.

No offense taken, mate. Mood and spirit are easily lost in text. I try not to get to bent out of shape because of different views or trying to read too much into each post.
