Awesome, Jeroen. I was putting together a point by point rebuttal but will hold off on your direction.

Bring it, Carl. I'll jump back on mine this weekend. I've been preoccupied with work crap, and the only time I can find to be here is during some lulls at the office. But building we will do, so let's jump on them. Nice 190, by the way.

Heard in a Canadian Army tent in 1981: I’m not drunk! Where the hell’s my other comboot bat!

Jerry Rutman P-51B build

Good news! Today I received my Barracuda P-51 stencils. Yes I know they’re for the D version, but plenty of them will work just fine. Onward with the build! -
Tony! Good to see you, man!

There’s an empty water bottle. Litterbug!

I’m sure it exists, I just don’t know where.

My gripe is when you open a new tube, half the contents ejects itself out of the tube. But I have no clue, other than thick CA, what would be a good alternative.

Have I ever aired it out that the bullpup rifle is bloody stupid looking?

Yes, that blue cloth is definitely non regulation

I enlisted in the wrong army!

LOL, good deal. Let's all be friends, OK? It's a big world and we all can play together. But please, hang around, you'll enjoy it. LSP may be home for you, but we're a good bunch here too. Feel free to cross post.

X2! plasticdoc, a wholehearted welcome to LSM. This issue to me at least, was dead and buried up until 15 minutes ago, so here's my .02. I'll be the very first one to admit that, (personally at least), I could have handled things differently regarding how I interacted with others. I'm very black and white, and my views, which might be a bit to the right of what younger generations believe, might show through at times. I've been a member over there for quite a few years, and up until the time I was brutally attacked by member SB who then left and has since returned, I've enjoyed my time immensely. Although the Mods did an exemplary job and deleted the attack within a few seconds of being advised of it, for whatever reason, after that incident, my personal experience certainly seemed to take a rapid downhill slide in a very big hurry. I was publicly shamed by a couple of LSP Mods for discussions in a restricted access private internet chatroom that had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with LSP. But this is about Smitty44 and his honor. I believe Smitty44, who was also a member of that chat group, was punished for using common military expressions and tongue in cheek Americanisms in that chatroom as well. His comments, at least the ones I saw, were definitely taken out of context. I consider Smitty44 a very close friend, as is Harvey, Martin, and several others here as well, and they are all stand up guys who would give you the shirt off your back of they thought you needed it. I feel that Smitty44 was given a bad rap, with his private off site comments were taken completely out of context, and he was punished based solely upon those out of context comments. They all had their personal reasons for leaving, all I'm sure are quite different than mine. Personally, Matt, just so you know, (not that it matters), I think you're a decent guy as well. A bit rash at times, but decent, well meaning and for the most part, levelheaded. As I've publically stated ad nauseum, I have absolutely no beef whatsoever with LSP. It's your ship, and you command, crew, and control it as you see fit, and accept the outcome of those decisions, as any good OIC does. We're all grown men and we all love this hobby, as well as the friends we've made in this hobby. Leaving LSP, for me at least, was a necessary thing to do. Ernie Oh, and TOS stands for "The Other Site". Nothing else, nothing sinister, it's just a term that I have used for decades. It's obviously a military term, and was used for referring to microwave radio relay networking back in the 1970s and 80s.

Very nice choice, although I would have thought for a civilian version, there is a multitude of Avenger options out there. You fooled me, although it's not too tough to do

Yeah don't get Harv mad at you. He'll go all crazy ninja on you. I've seen him in action. He annihilated that display of Brawny Paper Towels in Wal Mart. OK, I admit it, he actually sideswiped them with his handi scooter power chair, but I'll never tell that embarrassing story..

I test fit it last week and it snapped beautifully into place. The resin is decent on this one.

Tamiya P-51D Mustang
Clunkmeister replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
I originally thought that RCN Sea Fury was a bit too sanitary, but many of the old pics show them spit shined like Peter's build, even when deployed at sea. -
Only in Karlsruhe... jeez

Me. They told me it was sold out as well, but when I mentioned IPM, they had rooms in the reserved block

what is the best 1/35 kit of T-90?
Clunkmeister replied to Martinnfb's topic in Modelling Discussion
Yeah I guess so. They used to show us the vulnerable places on Russkie tanks, and the best places to knock them out, and it was always on the sides in the bogies. Astern worked as well, but it was thicker armor back there. -
Those chairs are awesome. My office chair is 7 years old and hasn’t missed a beat. The arms are tired but that’s it. Before this one, I went through a chair every year. Well done, Danny. Great choice!
