  1. LOL Kevin. I know what you mean. I've run out of room and am boxing models up and storing them in a closet. Better than letting them sit out and gather dust. 🙄
  2. Thank you Peter. I plan to start decaling this morning.
  3. Xtracolor applied and ready for some decals.
  4. Take a peek at these photos and compare. The difference doesn't jump out at you but if you look close you can see there is a little difference. Not a LOT but enough. At least enough that I can see it. Maybe the "L" will look okay after painting the camo and attaching the prop/spinner and exhausts. We will see! 🙃
  5. Thanks Peter. I don't think the Trumpeter nose section looks quite "right". A bit too "bulbous" but there's nothing I can do about that. It should be a little "flatter" on the sides. I'll post a couple of shots of it sitting next to one of my "F" builds using the Grey Matter nose and we'll see how they compare.
  6. Some good progress on this one today. Lots of filling and sanding. Better than I thought it might look even though there are several areas that need a bit more attention.
  7. I don't think that's a good bet since I intend to slow down and build some models that take more time such as a HK 1/48 B-17G, etc. I'm just turning out way too many builds but, like I always say, I want to stay busy. We'll see........
  8. LOL Peter. A good many for sure but not 40 plus. 19 at last count. I need to slow down as I've run out of room! I've started boxing some of them up and storing them in a closet to keep from setting them out to get dusty, etc.
  9. Agreed Gaz. I hope I can manage to get it "presentable" but we will see. 🙄
  10. Thanks Gaz. This one is a easy build with no big problems.
  11. I figured that problem might be there before I started but decided to go on and give it a shot. Not impossible to fix but certainly not a easy thing to do.
  12. Not bad Peter, not bad at all. It even LOOKS like a P-38!!!!🙃
  13. Agreed but certainly not a walk in the park. I haven't yet addressed the problem with the contour mismatch but I guess I'll get to it when I have a pause in the Hurricane build. Not particularly looking forward to it as it looks to have a bit of cuss factor involved. 🙄
  14. Day three and well along with it. The canopy is taped in place to protect the protruding gunsight.
  15. Thanks Dennis. Since there are very few "problems", and the ones that are are minor, it goes together well. I hadn't anticipated it would go so fast!!
  16. Hoping Harv has a fast and complete recovery. 😧
  17. Thanks Martin. I got the wings attached this evening and they took some "adjusting". LOL
  18. LOL Carl! It's a easy build but the cockpit "tubing" etc IS a bit fiddly. Had me talking to myself at times......
  19. Making nice progress. This is 2 days work . So far most everything fits okay. I'll attach the wings soon so my fingers are crossed they have a good fit.
  20. The Tamiya Corsairs are all outstanding kits. Can't go wrong there!
  21. Yep! Sure bit off a lot! LOL
  22. Here are a couple of shots of the progress so far. The contour problem will be hard to overcome I'm afraid. Certainly not without losing a lot of surface detail. The undersides should be acceptable after sanding and smoothing out. We'll see.
