I didn't realise it was against the rules. It seemed easier for me than posting the same thing on two different sites. On BM it's okay to do this unless the other site has adverts or is one of a few few they don't like. I've had no replies here so I'm not even sure if anyone is interested.

Yet another scratchbuild. But this time from the Ma.k universe of Kow Yokoyama. It involves a 1/32nd P-38 and a Jaguar XJR 9LM Racing car. This one is a Falke anti gravity Fighter. The latest of several that I've built over the years. A great result on both the model and the desktop. Those underside shots look almost like a still from the show!

Those pliers are commonly called plumbers pliers or Stilsons. Wind a rubber band around the bottle to aid your grip too.

There is only one FV4005 so yes. Have a look for mr hewes on you tube. If I remember correctly the hull is now in primer and they are awaiting delivery of the turret and other parts. I'm not really a tank fan but these guys are always worth watching, no matter what they are up to. The farm is somewhere near Market Harborough BTW.

There is a big warehouse just outside of Kings Lynn Norfolk called Beers of Europe. They do have Schlenkerla but not smoky george. They do mail order BTW. Have a look at the web site. Use someone else's card! Another big beer supplier I know of is Matthew Clark in Brighouse Yorkshire. But I just checked and they are wholesale only. Surprisingly they don't do smoky george either. Their warehouse is huge, and I've picked up some really obscure stuff there!

As people keep asking to see what I have.... A small Maschinen kreiger display. All scratchbuilt TThis was built maybe twenty years ago. The big Revell? kit I made this wall display to show off small scale Star Wars stuff. It's supposed to be the maintenance trench of a star ship. Two scratchbuilds in the foreground. Thanks very much. Most of my modelling is Sci Fi scratch building nowadays. I have boxes full of parts and it's fun to see what I can do with them. I've almost finished a Star Wars Tatooine freighter made mostly from a Revell Fairy Rotodyne. Scale is 1/78th ! A bit small for LSM perhaps.

Ah, beer. After forty years of working on and with Military Aircraft, I wanted a change of direction. So for eight years I worked as a Drayman for a Drinks wholesaler based in Lincoln. I retired last September. What's odd about that? Well for the last twenty of those forty years, I worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. So kind of got out of the drinking habit. However, I do have the odd one, I like sharps Doombar. Brewed on the North Cornish coast.

I recently read a fascinating book detailing the war of an English Vicar who was called up to be the Chaplain of the Derbyshire Yeomanry. They went out to North Africa and eventually to Italy, Seeing some serious fighting in both locations. His services were often in the open air or a tent. Sometimes off the back of a truck or Jeep. He would have been over the Moon to have one of these!

New member here and I've been asked to post some of my previous builds. They're mostly Machinen Kreiger or Star Wars, with the occasional Muscle car. Which section should I put them in? This one is 1/20th. Maschinen kreiger. Scratchbuilt Autonomous Hunter Killer. The lower half was a toy walker that cost 50p. The upper section is an inverted 1/32nd P-38 plus various other spares box bits. Built earlier this year. Thanks, Pete

And I'm new here too. Though I've been on Britmodeller.com for about 15 years or so. I live about 7 miles North of RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire England. I've been modelling since I was a teenager and I'm getting on a bit now. I spent 40 years working on & with Military Aircraft. Nowadays I mostly scratchbuild Sci Fi. Star Wars, Maschinen Kreiger etc, with the occasional Muscle car build for variety. I'll have to see what I have that I can post on here. Cheers, Pete

Hey, Carl. I like this build so much that I've signed up to the site! Your Anime F-15 is impressive (and large) kit bashing. I think it would go down well on Britmodeller in the Sci fi RFI when you finish it. Now to have a wander around on here to see what else I can find. The Dog would probably go down well on BM too ☺️
