This is man cave #2, located in my dungeon. Still not finished (and may never be), but a very comfortable work environ. Photo #1 is an extra bench for pals that join me from time to time. Photo #2 is my work area. Clean in this photo, but it's usually a pigsty.

I also just received these for Christmas, from a very good friend. Hornet is destined for Dambusters CAG markings.

As a comparative newbie here, I'm just getting used to the site when I saw this thread. Sad as it seems, this is the last new big kit I received; sad because that was about eight months ago. I do however have something spiffy coming from New Zealand in January; more on that later.

I lucked out, and was given this barrel by a local shop owner. It should make a nice addition to assembly, and saves me having to drill a zillion holes in flash suppressor.

This started out as a campaign build for another site, but I missed the deadline by a country mile, so I figured to just post it here. Nothing fancy, just a more or less OOB Italeri kit, which seems to be pretty accurate from the walk around photos I've seen. Kit pieces with some "embellishment".

This looks brilliant! On my "to get" list.

The Stug IIIG Walk Around from Squadron/Signal is very good value for money. For flat out detail, The Ryton book is hard to beat, though vastly more expensive, and covering the Stug in general, not specifically the G, and the JJ Fedorowicz books are simply some of the best there are for period shots and overall history, at least in my opinion.

My current stash is one, the Fokker D.VII (Alb.), with one, Fokker E.II/E.III mostly finished. I had five or six others, but sold them all, as they were more impulse than passion purchases to begin with.

For me, there's basically one,... the Fokker Dr.I Since they've already released the Fokker D.VII (my precious), the Dr.I is the only other one that really appeals to me. However, if the were to release some SPAD types and Nieuports, I probably wouldn't object.

The SPAD VII and SPAD XII/XIII Aces books by the same publisher are also interesting reads on the subject.

I'd recommend Nieport Aces of World War 1 by Osprey Publishing, as an economical starting point.
