  1. Simply beautiful, as always.
  2. More stuff to throw at the A-4 kit that I don't even have yet.
  3. Yep, Happy B-Day!!!
  4. If you've never seen it, it's a great movie, and also affords a nice way to tease you, Harv.
  5. Still #1 on my "to get" list. I love this aircraft.
  6. Agreed, like pipes, not tubes, but still in all,...
  7. Interesting question, Nige, and one that I unfortunately can't answer. My belief at the moment is eight different cars, of either 8 or 10 wheels each. Not one single photo I can find of the actual Dora is clear enough to be absolute.
  8. It can certainly be addicting, Nige. I've cranked out a few armor pieces myself, and I really have a thing for artillery.
  9. Not a big fan of the B-25 really, but this kit might just make me a believer. It looks absolutely great.
  10. Wow, those look splendid, Jeroen.
  11. Even perhaps more interesting is that ailerons, rudders and elevators are all derivations of the original bird concept of articulating surfaces to affect directional change.
  12. I think it's about railroad guns in general, or at least that's what I've heard, but supposedly covering the Dora fairly well. Lewis Pruneau (a local boy), scratch built a 1:35 Dora years ago, and I swear he mentioned using the JJ Fedorowicz book as reference. His Dora was on the cover of an old FSM magazine, as well as a VLS publication on monster dioramas.
  13. Should come with two.
  14. Kind of took me by surprise, I must admit. Given my moniker, most folks assume I'm a Hawker Typhoon maniac, and they're right, I am. The A-4 package does look appealing, too bad I'm cash poor at the moment.
  15. Great title Jeroen. It was rocket science. Looking real sharp, as I've come to expect.
  16. You're dedicated, I'll give you that.
  17. Rush? Never mind, I just took note of your avatar.
  18. Looks quite excellent. I can't tell, but are you using the RB canopy framing?
  19. Try gently drybrushing with straight orange. Sounds weird, but works like a charm.
  20. The A-4 is definitely on my "must have" list, Dave.
  21. As some of you may know, in addition to being a member here, I'm also a moderator at LSP. The staff from that site made a unanimous decision to purchase this for me, as a token of appreciation for the work I do behind the scenes in the references section there.
  22. A couple of months ago, a member on another forum gave me this; yes, gave it to me.
  23. WNW also captured the battens (for lack of a better word), that capped the ribs, with a subtlety that is truly astonoshing for an injection molded kit.
  24. Yep, emulating the way birds use their wings and tail inspired many early aircraft designers.
  25. There is another, the Motorbuch Verlag volume.
