Kaireckstadt
That’s funny Mark. Since I had the same problem like you I also bought 2 books about the Mirage 2000. One is from Duke Hawkins and the second one from 2 Greek authors. Both a must to find out the correct version and its equipment: Which one do you have? Which wraparound bird will you build? I also have the Quinta 3D Cockpit and a really stunning mask-set for the camo. It’s also available for other Mirage 2000 users and they are not expensive. Will use them as „flying masks“: Nice picture of you in the front cockpit! Where was it taken and how old have you been then? This will be the livery for my twin-seater: Hope that I can get a scaled up version of the 48 scale set from Syhart…

On the same day off the air show disaster in Ramstein Nice idee about the paint sheme for the 2 seater. Im going to look for the paint mask alsoand maybe other decals. I‘ve been to the show some years before and was lucky that nothing happened when I was there. Very good choice for your 2-seater livery with the wraparound camo and full load. This will be a stunner when finished! If you want I can take a look into my Italeri Tornado and Academy F/A-18 kit if there are GBU-12s included. If it is so, I could send them to you because I don’t need them. Is this an option for you? Happy modeling! Kai

Its that kitty hawk feeling Happy to have a Mirage 2000 but the instructions pffffff. Check references when building Iff you follow the instructions you will build the pit for the N version and not the D. Also with the tail the give you 2 options but not saying its for a D or the N But will get there. Mark

Kaireckstadt
Great progress Marc! Unclear instructions is typical for this kit (as it is for the single-seater)… Are you building the Mirage to have a pause regarding the 1000 rivets (now some less since yesterday) on your Ferrari? 1
Peterpools
Mark Nice progress on the Mirage and a great save. Completely agree with Kai that ALL instructions should specify if weight and how much is need to keep an aircraft on its legs. Even better, to include the weight as some kits do. Keep 'em comin Peter 1

Keep 'em comin Peter Thanks Peter And not al companys are like tamiya with clear instructions an nose weight. But still fun sommtimes frustrating but we will get there and then you heve the reward yes i finnisht that dan kit and im happy with it. Now i just need keep on pusching i think the biggest struggle is over with this one But iff all kits would fit like a tamiya the fun will be over. mark31
now a bit further with this first off all thanks kai for sending me the gbu-12. now i whas working onthe slats on the ground the are retracted but kitty hawk do not give you this option. So with a bit off evergreen prblem solved. I have put 50gr in to the nose that will be it for not making it a tail sitter Nose and slats on. feul tanks and gbu + adaptor Then the problem started again with the instructions. A lot off pylons for the plane and the give you difrent options but no part nrs. So more looking in to pics to get it right. But one good thing about this build just orderd my self the paint for this one. Mark
Peterpools
Mark Nice progress and KH strikes again. Bad enough they only give you one option for the leading edge slats, which is incorrect for when on the ground and parked and poor instructions again; two items that should not be. Keep 'em comin Peter.
Kaireckstadt
It was a pleasure for me that I could help you Mark. Great progress of the build. Good solution found for the slats! Tanks and other items looking spot on. It‘s really necessary to have literature about this plane and fotos of the one you plan to build. Which colors did you buy from which supplier?
