Thanks, Mike, for the very kind words. A tough build for sure but in the end, she is a beauty and headed for the display case.  Just have a soft spot for Sea Fury's - classic in design and raw power in the skies.

Much appreciated Kev - we seem to forget all the pitfalls and obstacles during construction, when the build is done. In the end, worth all the work. Betting the same with your Whirlwind build.

Thanks Harv, so very much appreciated and so glad you're back on the forum and checking in.

Keep fighting Buddy and before you know it, you'll be back at the bench.

Crisp and clean, Peter. Another showcase of your fabulous abilities. Somehow your finished kits show a definite unique style, let's say they are petresque ;)

Cheers Rob

Rob, Thank you for the very kind words and comments on the Sea Fury.

My preference has always been to build my models as if my display case was a miniature museum, where all the aircraft and models have been restored to pristine condition. Only weathering I tend to do on the exterior is a bit of oil washes, panel lines and maybe some exhaust staining. Cockpits normally have a bit more wear but that's about it.

Even in the days when I owned my own airplane, I spent a lot of time washing and waxing her.
