RFI Tamiya British K2 Ambulance ( new tool 2 weeks ago) 1/48 , needs a Carlsberg .

Recommended Posts

Launched in Nov, arrived after my pre order . Comes as "green" markingn for airfield dioramas no doubt, but since one of my all time films is Ice Cold in Alex....thats where I'm going . This'll be quick , just a bit of weekend fun .

Not many bitz

Wish Airflups desinger's would take note of proper instructions instead of the 100 page nonsense they produce these days .

Masking stuff as gives me more options later on , plus huge decals often suck / look too perfect IMHO .

Thats a small model not a huge glass of wine .....no really ....

I saw a Youtube review video of the parts and was impressed with the kit.
I am even more impressed with your build, that was quick and well executed . . .

Weathering looks very good  . .

Thank you , it is a nice little build , great for adding some interest to similar scale aircraft . I think the only real mod for me was swapping out the windows for some thinner sheet.

This one went as an a Xmas gift to one of my regulars , TBH I'd forgotten about it. .

What a Classic!  Beautiful and you are spot on with the markings - a huge decal would not have looked right.  Love how the roundel for the cross is up on the step of the wagon body. A little detail but very cool.
