Customs hold

Kotare package held at Customs for 3 weeks and finally released for delivery!  
I assume it’s simply due to the over abundance of packages coming and going. 
Has anyone else encountered this lately?

Tamiya kit held in Japan customs for 5 days before being released to leave country.

Had this problem last year about this time with a Tamiya Comet kit

coming from China......stayed in customs in Chicago 10 days.

I ordered from Australia a couple weeks ago...only spent one day in customs in L.A. I would agree...it's because the time of the year.
