Peter Fuller Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Just joined and have pics of some builds I did while under covid lockdown. The Gazoo racing was my first car and I found it quite challenging especially keeping the paint lines symmetrical, given all the curves. I am quite astonished with the quality most of the builds I have seen on this site and they also helped when completing the kits pictured. So thanks to all those that did but didn't know. Use to build when I was a kid some 50 years ago, the 1/48 spit was my first and I was inspired by the way the Tamiya parts fitted. Compared to the kits of the 60s and early seventies ( when I stopped ) these are just so good. All Tamiya 1/32 Spit and F16 all others are 1/48. 3 1
KevinM Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Peter you have some very Nice builds going there as to the French Spit what scale is that one?the details just popped on that one. PS:Yeah the F-16 is Nice also scale on that one?My son is back in Misawa Japan with the 35th FW he's CC to F-16's
Peter Fuller Posted June 8, 2024 Author Posted June 8, 2024 The Spit in French colours, is 1/32. Doing a Amt Shelby Cobra. The kit is from 1999, lotsa chrome to get rid of. Drano works well for that. Will post progress and completion. Thanks
