Bf-110G-2 ProModeler

Number 3 in the Bf-110 builds. This one is a little different from the first 2 night fighter builds. It IS a night fighter but it's primary mission was as a flare dropper. The unusual paint scheme caught my eye and I decided to haul out the old ProModeler kit that's been in my closet for a loooong time. I haven't done any WIP photos as I posted plenty of those on my 2 previous builds. At any rate, it's nearing completion and I decided to post a couple of pics. I'll over spray the gloss paint job with some clear flat in a bit.

Nice progress on #3 and the unique underside split scheme is so very different.

You just never know. Glad you switched to this cammo scheme as the underside finish is so different - almost the same as the RAF did in the early part of the war.

Just curious as to the reason the Luftwaffe went with the split underside paint cammo.

It was to make it easier for the AA gunners to see who was friend and who was foe.

So very well done, as the fit and finish looks perfect and another 110 is in the books - the collection grows.🏆
