And if so, what thickness do you use? I made this because i need 3. Kit comes only one. Back plate is made 0.12 mm sheet. You need these: 4
Alan_G Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Excellent - thank you. And I really appreciate you being open and helpful, and I'm loving watching your build progress. Thanks to your work so far, my kit has now made it to the very top of my build list - just need to finish the HobbyBoss Bergepanzer Buffalo ARV currently on my bench. 3 1

Of course I want to help a fellow modeler. That's what these forums are for🙂 4

FullArmor Posted Monday at 05:33 PM Author Posted Monday at 05:33 PM in a nutshell they wanted SEP update...more electronics...creates more heat...needed exhaust that heat off...move apu to other location and put Thermal Management System in its place. 3
FullArmor Posted Wednesday at 03:45 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 03:45 PM I realized that these slats should be in different angle. Well better than the original part though. 7
Alan_G Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM I meant to post earlier today but forgot in the excitement of receiving my 1/16 M113 kit..... I was looking through my Abrams kit the other day and discovered that I'd bought some after market parts for a SEP V2 conversion, and in that upgrade kit was this: I'd completely forgotten that I'd bought that upgrade set. I can provide the link via PM if you're interested in seeing more. 6

If you have this 3d printed VCSU i would be interested seeing how this small rectangular pipe at bottom is modeled. Please share picture if you can. 6
Alan_G Posted Wednesday at 07:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:37 PM I'll take a look tomorrow and let you know. 4
Alan_G Posted Thursday at 09:06 AM Posted Thursday at 09:06 AM Apologies for the poor lighting but hopefully you can see what you're looking for. Plus the parts are in white resin and haven't been primed yet. Unfortunately while I was setting up the best location for taking the photo, I dropped the part onto the only section of hard floor in the room!!! That's why there's only the one lifting hoop.... I'm confident I can make replacements out of brass wire etc when the time comes. 4

FullArmor Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago I wanted to implement one trick which i used with tamiya abrams build. I glued torx bit to barrel and used drilling machine as a poor man's lathe. 2
FullArmor Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago I filled gaps with superglue. I used 800/600/320 to wetsand. Results were outstanding. Barrel is completely smooth. Some details was lost, but i will resribe new tomorrow. 4
