ScottsGT Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM Great video! He kind of got choked up there near the end reflecting back on his early years. But I’ll give him a pass on his color choice. And he’s probably the only person alive today that would get that pass! I remember reading about that fire in the pits that took them out of the race. A photographer was on the way to take pics of the car and they rushed to get it presentable for pics. They said the paint was still wet when the photos were taken.

Well it must be a replica, as all six originals were together some years ago, all in their classic livery. Nonetheless, an interesting video, thanks for posting. Cheers Rob

Nonetheless, an interesting video, thanks for posting. I think it is. The hood (Bonnet) has different ducts than I am used to seeing. Though I am no expert so maybe they are a different variant. Idk. Last one I heard sold at auction for 7.5 million, so I kind of doubt anybody is repainting them red. 2
ScottsGT Posted Thursday at 12:54 AM Posted Thursday at 12:54 AM I swear I heard him refer to “this car” when he was talking about the 6 cars back in the day. But I was dumbfounded if they gutted a multi million dollar car and turned it into a street car with the nice interior, etc. 1
DocRob Posted Thursday at 08:05 AM Posted Thursday at 08:05 AM There are so many differences between the original and the red one in the video, it must be a replica, there are the air ducts on the bonnet, the dashboard, the complete and street ready interior with real side windows instead of plexy plates. The airducts behind the side windows are gone. Added were side mirrors and indicator lights, ... Phil Spector owned one for some time and collected a lot of speeding tickets and his lawyer recommended, to get rid of the car. Spector also claimed, the car got unbearable hot inside while driving around. Doesn´t look like the red one in the video. Cheers Rob
BlrwestSiR Posted Thursday at 12:18 PM Posted Thursday at 12:18 PM If I were to guess, I'd say that it's a Superformance Brock Coupe, also called the Daytona coupe. The interior is too nicely finished to be a Factory Five 65 coupe. 2
