Let me start with a question..... Should a package sent from a origin within the US and sent to an address within the US, be redirected from

from a local distribution center to an International Distribution Center ( Chicago ISC) for any reason that can be regarded as sane?

You would think that this would be a one-time screw-up ....right? Nope! This has happened 5 times to me in the last week alone.

I can only regard this as being deliberate or the action of very incompetent staff at the Palatine Illinois distribution center.

I'm fed up. I have filed multiple complaints yet the problem persists .The result is my packages are being deliberately delayed.

Really, annoying. I will have no recourse...I am at the whim of these people. I will have to pay more to send by UPS if available

From the supplier.

Yeah, there doesn’t seem to be logical things happening at times. I just watched a package from Chicago go to a PO about 12-15 miles from me and sit there for two days. Then it went to Nashville and then to Fairview. The original tracking said it was going to be delivered on Monday and it kept right on showing that until Wednesday morning when it was loaded for delivery. Things would normally go from Chicago to Nashville and then to Fairview.

Sorry to hear of your problems.... Today I got a call from USPS.....well, to say it was odd would be an understatement. The

Person on the other end ....a " miss Johnson" first told me that she looked into the problem, then went into a diatribe and placed

blame on "Your President Trump" . Once she had started, she would not allow me to speak, ask a question, or allow any input

from me. I started to raise my voice and told her she was being inappropriate..... Bizarre!

I had a package two weeks ago coming from IL I believe that first went to PA, then somehow went to CA, then TX, back to PA, then finally VA.  Guess it wanted to see the country.

I've had other packages come to the my local sorting facility about 5 miles from me, back out to a sorting facility 30 miles from me, back to the local sorting facility, then finally to my zoned post office.

With the amount of packages USPS handles, I can see there being some that slip through the cracks, but seems to happen more than one would expect, especially in this day of tracking info, etc.

I just purchased a bass guitar from a guy in Colorado (he used USPS). What should have taken a few days, turned into a couple of weeks. it went from Denver to Dallas back to Denver 5 times each way before it made its way to San Antonio. I could have driven to Colorado and picked it up myself in less time. USPS sucks!

Yeah, I just found that my Kotare K-4 was in the Nashville, TN Distribution Center on August 7. Normally it then goes to my local PO for delivery. Now, as of August 12 it's in Portland, OR. I did some checking, if you change the first digit in the zip code from a 3 to a 9, that is a Portland area town. So, someone or something decided the zip code on the package started with a 9 instead of a 3. :wallbash:

I now have to accept the fact that everything I order from somewhere in the U.S. must go to customs before I get it...for no

explainable reason. Inquiries about this have now made this bizarre reality set in stone.
