CP1 Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 Making a transport tiger tank for a flat bed railcar 3
Kirk Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Nice. Is the Tiger for this engine house diorama the "The Train" one, or the next project? Your productivity is astounding.
CP1 Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 I don’t know where I will put it. I will have tie downs on the tank. I just get bored working on the same project so I mix it up. The next project is going to be a train station with a railroad crossing. It will have a steam engine and a passenger car. All in 1/35 scale. 1
Kirk Posted Thursday at 11:20 PM Posted Thursday at 11:20 PM Flatbed looks good on its wheels. Won't all that stuff on the shelves get damaged if it rains or if the fork lift hits it?

Kirk Posted Friday at 08:13 AM Posted Friday at 08:13 AM Whilst I'm trying to be helpful (but probably failing): Power supply to the bench grinder and drill. Wouldn't the cables come in down a conduit rather than being chased into the wall? If you had an electricity supply, wouldn't you want a light on the workbench? No broom to clean up all the swarf? Don't get me wrong - this all looks fabulous already and is WAAAAY better than I could ever achieve. I particularly love the way you make your dioramas look busy and include everyday items that quietly increase the realism without looking contrived.
DocRob Posted Friday at 09:40 AM Posted Friday at 09:40 AM Very nice work, your dio will be a looker. It´s believable busy and coming together nicely. One remark though. On the side of the Tempo´s loading bed there is "Deutsche Bundesbahn" written. This is wrong, because the Deutsche Bundesbahn was the follow up of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (see Tempo´s side doors) and was founded in 1949. Cheers Rob
