This is next up. I'll be using a Hasegawa P-40E and a Grey Matter conversion set.

Looking like it's going somewhere(conversions =fear) John sure in your hands you will cross that finish line.So the plane upstairs is that the drcal sheet? looks cool;)

Thanks Kevin. I'll provide all those markings from my decal stash. No decals were provided in the Top Drawings book I'm using as a guide unfortunately. So far it looks like I have all that will be needed. 🙂

Painting nearly completed. This is my first time using Lifecolor acrylic paint. It worked out okay but tended to clog the airbrush nozzle. I thinned it with Tamiya acrylic thinner.

Well it gave you a nice coat it looks from here.John I use that Mr Level leveling thinner on enamels,lacquer and acrylics(Tamy) even Future Floor wax.:(

It did give a nice smooth finish so I'm pleased. I hope to start decaling soon after some weathering and a coating of Alclad clear gloss. 🙂

Nice nose job, can't see the join :) 

Glad you had success with lifecolor paint, they never worked well for me , couldn't get a thinning ratio I was happy with .

Thanks! It's mighty thick paint and takes a good bit of thinning. I was hesitant to use it but decided to go on and give it a shot since the color was just what I was looking for. I guess I got lucky with it and the Tamiya thinner. 🙂
