Ok the in laws are back in Southsea the house is mine again so back to building, pretty much finished the hull now, last of the photo etch just gone on, next up is the turret,

The hull is now finished and started on the turret, not sure what I think of the soft plastic rubber for the gun mantlet, enjoying this even though there is a fair bit of tedious building involved,

Though it really extends build time, i.e.- see Paulsters Tiran 5, I really like the what pe adds to a kit.

Thanks guys, tedious is the word here though in truth it is worth it, my photo etch work is not as neat as the Tiran but it is sometimes difficult with so much not give in and play with something else.

Hey P, yeah I will be there on Friday with it,, missed last month due ant invasion!! I am going to be fairly restrained with weathering but I will make it look used,

Freaking outstanding work Steve. The hull, tracks, turret and wonderful brass work looks absolutely brilliant!

I'm considering building a Tamiya 1/35 German Panther Medium Tank along with a Revell 1/32 P38J in full D-Day dress for the Beaches to Berlin build but still a bit wary of those tracks. I guess I'll see how in goes. Many on LSM have said the Tamiya is a good first time armor build for me. Excited to start it soon.

Thanks Ralph, have a go at the tracks, they are not really difficult just a bit tedious and as you say Tamiya usually fall together.
